We keep Lucentis and Eylea as stock in our department. For 1st injections the doctors write a standard prescription on the day or just before.
After that we send to pharmacy our theatre list at the end of the session. This states name, drug, eye etc of each person that has received injection during that session.
At the bottom is a section the doctor signs to prescribe the drug for all and confirm they have received injection.
We also have a stock total and balance on there.

We also keep Lucentis/Eylea in stock.
On a day of appointment if the injection is required the doctor feels in a prescription which is valid for a year and scan into excel spreadsheet so can be accessed any time . In the end of the day we send a form to pharmacy for each patient with details about injection ( which eye/drug) .We receive Ealeya/Lucentis next midday to top up the stock.

Really interested in how annual prescriptions work. We use a prescription sticker for each injection which has to be signed by a dr. This causes major problems on planned injection lists as the Drs on clinic at the time are reluctant to sign for something they have not requested!
We also work from a stock of eyelashes and lucentis which is replenished the next day.
If you could give me more info on the annual prescriptions I'd be very grateful. Thanks

The annual prescription is done on the day of appointment before the first injection (or switching Lucentis to Ealyea)contains also eye drops Oxybuprocaine and Chloramphenicol, states which eye . Dated and signed by the doctor .
