Despite all the research we still give post injection chloramphenicol for the pt to take home!
Is there anywhere else that does this? What is the experience of those that don't?

We stopped sending them home with chloramphenicol since the research about it. We just give it in the depth pre and post injection now. We have not had any change in outcomes.

We also give only stat dose after injection , no changes to outcomes.
