Bilateral Injections

Do you give bilateral injections on the same day. If so, are they given consecutively or does the patient sit out for a short period prior to having the 2nd eye being injected?

Yes,we often give bilateral injections and we do it consecutively; However some patients prefer to come back to clinic in one week time for injection in second eye.

We also give them the choice of same day or different days for each eye.
Most our team give them consecutively but one of our consultants prefers to sit each patient out in case of complications before proceeding with the 2nd eye.
